Helenah Swedberg
Having aimed for a career in journalism since she was a child, Helenah Swedberg suddenly changed tracks in 2010 and left her job as a video journalist in Sweden to pursue documentary filmmaking in the United States. She is a multimedia professional who has done work for PBS, National Geographic, World Wildlife Fund, and the National Park Service. An Emmy award-winning cinematographer, her web video series about Sumatran tigers recently also received awards for Best Documentary and Best Cinematography at the Visions Awards. Close To The Bone is her Master’s Thesis film project.
